Our Future Performance Process

We find executives who deliver business results today and tomorrow

In the world of media and entertainment change is constant.

In business, there is no time for time outs. It requires executives that can deliver results today and have the organization ready to seize what is next. It is why ML Search Partners developed the Future Performance Process.

Network: Most search firms call on an impressive network of senior management contacts based on years of recruiting experience. We go well beyond that. In a converged world of technology, media and entertainment, new executives can come from many source environments.

Measure: While we create a complete candidate profile in determining what they have done and how they did it, we create “what if” scenarios. In those scenarios, we measure a candidate’s ability to be adept at adapting to a changing environment – an environment that must amalgamate the latest technology, with breakthrough content to deliver audiences, business solutions and profits in perpetuity.

Fit: As most hiring executives have discovered, having the right resume is not enough. We transcend what is on paper to find the people who can perform. This happens through our interviewing process where we discover what a person has done, why they have done it, and what makes them tick.

We then analyze a candidate’s current and future performance capabilities with our client’s corporate culture. Our analysis enables us to determine an executive’s fit within a corporate culture. It helps us answer the key question: is this an environment where he or she can perform?

On Boarding: ML Search always suggests clients plan an on-boarding process for an executive. This includes a thorough understanding of reporting structure, roles and responsibilities, short and long term. It is a final step to assure we have created a partnership that works for the candidate, the hiring executive and the organization.
